Title: anyone got a T4?

Right basically, later this year when I have worked some money up me and a mate wan't to follow the ASP Surfing Tour around Europe in a Transporter and preferably a T4 as i've never heard a bad word about them!!

I want to convert the van into a camper myself, just simple bed, table and kitchen area would be nice,

Anyway the point of this post is I've done a bit of research myself but I still have no clue as to which is the best engine or model to go for? (1.9 TDi?) as i'm only 19 and insurance could work out to be a bomb  :sad: and anyone got any feedback as to how good these vans are?

and if anyone else has any useful links to converting a T4 or if you have done it yourself?
