There is a difference between GTi and non GTi rear beams, in that GTi ones have an additional stiffening rod. Ive heard talk of fitting a mk3 one at they give a wider track. May be a similar story with the corrado, but ive never seen one in bits to know....

hi mk3 gti rear beam will give u an extra 1" each side plus an extra wheel nut but if your doing that u need front legs.
depending on wot gti u get the bits off u will get 280mm or 288mm discs on the front and a much nicer stance/look plus the arches fill up nice when lowered
  2 get the extra 1" each side on the front u will also need the gti wishbones
list needed:
FRONT:
wishbones
calipers
carriers
legs
*possible steeringrack ajustments* depends if u have power steering and doner parts dont and viceverser

REAR:
REAR BEAM
BRAKE LINES    **beam bolts in the same just brake lines 2 sort out**

EASY AS THAT!!  BENIFETS WIDER BETTER HANDLING BIGGER BRAKES  FRONT AND REAR EXTRA WHEEL NUT ON EACH WHEEL BETTER STANARD BUSHES

A Mk3 rear 'axle' will not give you an extra 1" either side, as I have had both a Mk2 and Mk3 GTi beam (minus spindles) side by side, and it's about 10mm either side.  The difference is the thickness in the Mk3 rear spindle.

But, I think hc20v was asking about the rear 'subframe', the one which the steering rack and rear mounts bolt to, as the front subframe is attached to the rad support, and holds the front engine mount.  I have a SEAT Toledo version sat around waiting for me to fit, and it's exactly the same as a Mk2 but with the added bonus of a big block of steel to help eliminate torsional vibration.

On my old Mk2 it worked a treat and helped with the massive vibration caused by the poly bushes and Vibratechnics engine mounts, of which I will never fit in a daily ever again!

Apparently the corrado ones are the same as the mk2 g60 which are stronger.

OEM bushes for me. Poly's are for the lazy
