Title: N75 problem/questions
Post by: bigmarky on 01 May 2012, 22:01
Right after numerous attempts at fixing a major boost problem I managed to get my hands on someone else's N75 today and tried it in mine, it instantly stopped the car overboosting, and say around 12psi from -10 on idle ( 0 on cruising ) what I'm wondering is will the car know its not the same N75 if it's been remapped one run on a default setting or will it run as it should???

Is it worth buying the N75J over the N75?

Any ideas on prices of a N75 or N75J?? Have a TPS 5 mins away so will be genuine part!!  Part numbers??

I had to replace my N75 on my GTI after mapping it, as R-tech said it was lazy :undecided: Did my research (on here) and soon established that the 'j' valve was the best one to go for! I bought mine IIRC for around £70.

Sorry i can't answer your questions fully. Hope this helps
