They are reps, so they are one piece wheels, not splits.
@Adz gti - I'm also running JOMs without any problems, with 18x8j et35 all round. Spaced 20mm rear and 15mm front.

i no that but wot im saying can you get 18x9 all round ???
-
im new to golf scene so i dont know much, but i know if its dropped a lot wouldn't the sump scrape and soon become damaged, so everyone recommends JOM's :) so be it, yh one piece, there is slight poke on the rears but it shouldn't be a problem....... only thing is though, now im going to have to clean alloys thoroughly for car meets :P
btw you guys are so friendly, welcoming and very helpful, glad im a member of this forum

no worries lowered 40mm will be fine any more you,ll have to upgrade the anti roll bar so it goes under the driveshaft rather than over i went for the audi tt 1 so no rubbing issues

thats mine on jamex coilovers , down about 60mm i think No spacers.
Put a decent sealant on the wheels and keeping them lean will be much easier , mine are well over a year old now , but I use poorboys wheel sealant on them every few months :)
edit : better pic to show ride height

would poorboys wheel sealant keep the alloys mint if i use it time to time ?
-
If those wheels are reps you have the wrong bolts fitted, get them replaced asap with the correct taper fit.
-
that is for sure

me or the other guy ?

your I think m8 . Wheel sealant with stop brake dust dirt sticking , but weekly cleaning with soapy water still needed and top up the sealent when needed.

You , reps use these bolts: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-x-ALLOY-WHEEL-BOLTS-VW-GOLF-MK4-5-BOLT-14mm-VOLKSWAGEN-NUTS-R7-/320862659087?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab4e7a20f
Standard bolts will not hold the correct torque.
