I'm fitting a Creation Motorsport TIP to my AUM like yours tonight, i'll let you know what the fitment is like.

None of them, they won't make any difference.

They really don't. Got a set, Forge, made absolutley no difference. Waste of money.

If you were expecting some sort of performance increase, I can understand that you would be dissapointed.
The advantage comes from the fact that silicone doesn't perish under heat and oil vapours, the hoses are also reinforced and will take far more abuse before tearing than the normal rubber.
Combining this with the fact that they are comparable in price (and sometimes cheaper) to OEM hoses. Changing them when the existing rubber is perished is kind of a no brainer.
Plus they look pretty.

The tip does....

Hmm, I'm surprised by that.
That looks dirty rather than perished, what difference was there to it being new?
Also what's the dark stuff at the end of the forge hose?
Standard pipes are likely to be EPDM or NBR, which is attacked by HC and oils.
Silicone hoses usualy have coatings that provide very high chemical resistance.
-
the tip does make a differnce
the red one is a ko3s forge one! on the right i have my badger 5 tip 3" nearly all the way through = no restrictions!
when u add more boost the standerd ones can collaps!
-
Did you mean the tip does make a difference or does perish?
Think I misunderstood before
-
maKES A differnce!
and dont perish
-
silicone doesnt perish, but it does burst!
prob wont notice much difference unless your cars mapped for it.
-
Ive got a full set of creation motorsport hoses, did some logging runs before and after and gained 12bhp
Could have been a boost leak mind as i replaced all clips etc, however the TIP is alot bigger than standard so would think it would be of some benefit!?
Not tooo bad to fit, just a pain getting the turbo end on and tight, took me about 4 hours to fit everything......................... only 2 bolts left over and 2 broken headlight washers
-
looks huge that badger 5 tip, does it fit alright as even the k03s pipe is a tight fit?
have a full set of creation motorsport hoses as well and cant fault them considering the price difference between other brands.
