Fitted the new cables today, went out at 9am and didn't finish till 5.........yep that long.

Had a few problems, working from underneath the car with it sitting on breeze blocks wasn't easy I'd suggest a pit or ramps to do this, left side came off nice and easy however the other was completely seized up and to add the other end near the old cable had seized its self inside the metal piping that leads to inside the car, had to remove this and place in vice and drill the old cable out that has the plastic guider plug on.

I think the main issue was having no pit to do this job, next time I'll be using one.

Good thing is handbrake feels brand new and holds both sides well.

Job done cheers guys
