Hi guys can anyone I've checked all the normal stuff but no fuel going into the block any ideas much need.

You need to put some more details up Mate....does it start and cut out or just turn over etc.

It just turns over, it's not firing up at all just changed crank,inlet,temp, change dizzy as hall sensor had gone, not firing and plugs are bone dry....

No spark at the plugs could be coil gone.

Got spark at plugs but on fuel going into chamber as plugs don't smell of fuel

What year is your Golf and is it 8v or 16v,etc.

TAke off the fuel rail with inJectors, turn it upside down and turn it over see if fuel comes through, if not could be blocked injectors, or fuel filter. Do u hear the fuel pump prime?

It's a 8v year 98 fuel pump is priming no problems there.

Have a look on the search engine on here m8.Lots of people have had similar problems to yours which have pointed towards issues with the ECU and immobiliser.

Which engine code? Suspecting anti-theft controller (control unit that sits behind the light swith), ECU relay - these very very often have bad solder points causing problems with starting.
I suggest that you check the third relay from the left in the upper row. Take it out, disassemble and check solder points... Same for the anti-theft controller.

Maybe this helps. Are there any faults stored in the ECU?

Could also be wiring to the injectors - gets brittle and cracks with age.  Assuming its a multi-point injection (i.e. 2l gti) - there is a common supply feed to the injectors.  Could be a suspect if all plugs are dry, otherwise its may be a single injector control wire.

Look on my blog for car posts - last year repaired mine - took pictures etc.
