Title: fuel cap button????

Have to press loads of times to get to open.dodgey switch or solenoid thingy?anyone else had this prob?thanks :smiley:

yeah i think its the solenoid mate mine was doing it then started to work again

Yea sometimes works fine other times can take 20 trys lol.was wondering if there might be an easy fix.dont want to be in a posistion where i cant put fuel in the bloody car. :undecided:

i was just pulling mine open for about a year then suddenly its started to work again bloody golfs  :grin: think rhyso did a fix on his check his build thread  :wink:

Mines been fine so far, but I did think the other day..I wonder if this will ever break lol, would be a pain in the arse if it did.

Nope; mine never failed  :smug:  I bought one for my MK5 boot handle mod  :smiley:

The solenoid is about £15 from the dealer is a revised part
