But... 4-speed box, vinyl roof, 4-star petrol (not unleaded), £2995? Solid or not I reckon there's better Capris out there.

But then if I was being honest I'd keep the Golf over both... or sell it and get yourself something more to your liking within the VAG group. I'd take a Corrado or a Scirocco over either of those.
