Title: Calipers

Fitting a second hand set of calipers on my mk 3 this weekend.
I havent got the wind in tool but at work have found a grinder wheel spanner thans fits a treat. My question is will the caliper piston simply wind back in without any downward pressure on it or does it need pressure and turn at the same time.
The piston is turning freely by using the grinder spanner but doent seem to be retracting???

it does need downward pressure but not more than you can apply with the grinder spanner..... thats my lil trick too... i have a wind back tool.... i'd be damned if i knew who i lent it too tho....

If they are nice and loose it shouldnt be a problem,  i use a big screwdriver, when i cant be botherd to get the winder out the box.  :grin:
