Hi
Just started doing the sills on my vr6,but the floor is badly damaged :0(
rebuilding it but, just wondering if I can buy new jacking points or what can I do????
Cheers

Take off the sills and pull down the floor/ sill flange section. Thats what they had to do with mine.
The jacking points are part of the sills and the inner floor section, you cant buy them seperate.
-
so dude what i´ll have to do is rebuild them???
the floor has been pushed up inside the car where some muppet as used the wrong jack i think
-
Finish it dude!! I need to see this soon :lipsrsealed:
-
yer toby it will be welded soon
just gotta wait for ben to finish a couple of bits off also
-
The jacking points are not actually jacking points! they are lifting points for a 2 post service ramps, all 4 points are used to evenly distribute the weight of the car.
The jacking points to lift the car in the event of a puncture, are the very lowest tripled section of the sill...

make them up while sorting out the floor section then dude

I did this. You need to use a different thickness of metal for the jacking point area. I had to remake the section from the sill inwards around 3". The plastic bungs are another culprit of rust and I've welded over most of them.
