Title: Fuel Problem

When i turn my gti to ignition on, i don't hear the fuel pump. Normally you hear the fuel pump for about 2 seconds until it is cut out by the fuel relay.
When this happens, i cant start the car. I have changed the fuel relay but no joy.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the fuse for the pump? if thats ok then you are looking at a new fuel pump.

Thanks mate, its my immobiser cut out to the fuel pump which is a bit dodgy. I have by passed this and now it starts.
