Title: Will mk4 1.4 /1.6 lowering springs fit a mk 4 1.8 gti

Been giveing a set of lowering spring but on the box says 1.4 /1.6 will these fit my 1.8 gti or is there a big diffrence between springs ? Any help would be great

They will not really work due to the difference in engine weight.

So front would be slightly lower difrent spring rate i assume ? Thanks for the speedy reply

Yes but they also may be a little soft
