Title: Water ingress in passenger side footwell!

I have searched for the past half an hour and cant seem to find a proper answer / check list for this problem

I have water in the front passenger footwell of my gt tdi ,  when it rains hard there is a hell of alot!      i have checked the pollen filter and this is sopping wet so have one on order,  where is my next port of call?    can anyone give me a check list?    is this the main reason i get steamed up windows when its parked up and left?

Spot on rich!    filter is on order,  ill check condition of the tray tonight !    top man!
