I was woundering what is the best air filter for my annoversary, standard box with pannel filter or cone induction kit? Thanks in advance :)
-
Piper cross panel filter ftw. And looks so much more oem
-
Cheers mate :)

Pipercross panel is the best choice, I have tried an induction kit but was not keen on it.
-
do the smooth airbox mod to accomodate the panel filter aswell
-
I love my cone filter set up!

i loved the sound on mine but on the rollers it was making me lose power through heat soak
-
I've got an aluminium heatshield. You might lose power on a dyno but on the road I think it would be negligible.

mine didnt :undecided:
do miss the pipercross induction but went for oem look now with smooth airbox and pipercross panal filter

hi-jacking here but when buying a cone filter what else do i need to have with it? (may be a dumb question) but do i need to get any piping with it? or does that come in the box.

Best option

ive seen that thread, thanks but if i was to go for a cone filter will everything i need come in the box or will i need to buy anything separate?
-
If its designed for your model then should come with all parts required to fit.

You will need a breather filter for the SAI pipe
