I hope Chelsea win.  Just to see Mourinho run the length of the pitch punching the air at Roman when Madrid win the final.

10 men with an away goal.

Now....where's that bus?

Surely it is great news for Newcastle? As if Chelsea lose and Newcastle finish 4th, which I hope they do, they get Champions League football.

Although Chelsea are back in it with that goal , I think Barca will come good in the 2nd half

Great match. Messi is as much of a tool as Tel for getting that Yellow.

Would love to see how Chelsea fair against either Bayern/Madrid missing potentially 5 first team players  :lipsrsealed:

What an epic game, first Cahill goes off thro injury then for some reason mr JT does something awesomely stupid WTF was he thinking? Hope he has his head on when It comes to the euros...

I was a Barca supporter from the start, then messi goes and misses a penalty  and then some reason Mr Di Matteo goes and puts £50m of turd on and I thort well that can only end badly besides Drogba was having a blinder of a game and it was wrong to sub him(dispite the penalty blunder)

any how for the last 20mins of the game I found my self willing Chelsea on...

I've got to admit they thoroughly deserved the WIN in the end, it shud be another epic game if they come up against the self proclaimed special one) and Madrid...

Chuffed to bits with that result. Really proud of Chelsea tonight. Amazing result, the footballing gods were certainly smiling on us tonight.

Terry of course let everyone done, in an act of complete stupidity however at least he had the balls to come out in he end and offer a sincere apology.

What an amazing game, thanks Chelsea but my heart can't take much more of that!

Carefree! \0/\0/\0/

Terry "There was no malice and no intent, anyone that knows me will know I didn't mean it like that, it just looks bad on the replays"

f**kin tool! Terry your a prick, and your a dirty bastard too! You got your just deserts last night. I missed the whole game as it was my first wedding anniversary so had to take the missus out for the most expensive bloody meal I've ever had, and missed the whole friggin match. Got home and she wanted to go straight to bed............... Ok that wasn't so bad, but I still missed what was apparently an epic match. Just saw the highlights, and the interview with Terry though, and he meant that as much as I meant it when I said "f**k me" when the waiter gave me the bill last night!

hahahahaha that shut the turncoat brigade of English Barca fans up, as much as I hate Man U and the like, I would always support an English or British club in Europe 100%
I though the red card was harsh as the Barca player in question did a death flip after the event clearly looking for a booking.
Although a fair booking in retrospect I think something should be done about diving as it blights the European game and is creeping more into our own league.....

As born and inbred CFC fan I hope we get Bayern for the kind of game it will produce but either way I am ney bothered, just glad to have a smug look on my face as the Messi posters come down off the walls at work

No offence mate , but your talking sh!te. The Barca player did not even dive in the slightest at all. Go watch it on youtube, all he did was fall to the floor when that thug Terry shoved his knee in to his back for no reason at all.

Terry is a massive tool for doing what he did, but that seems to be over shining how well we played last night. Bus parked with 10 men and no CB's Barca just couldn't find a way through. I think the team played outstanding, I'm still buzzing today. Bring on the final

COME ON YOU BLUES!

Title: Re: John terry....

No offence taken, you can clearly see the Barca player(s) making a meal out of it if you watch it long enough.
Why you have to insult me is another question

Cant justify what JT did but I think the diving and Hamming it up ruins the game just as much as JT being a thug, this goes for Drogba too.
Title: Re: John terry....
Post by: VR6_Wherry on 25 April 2012, 14:42
Lets be fair, Chelsea used a 6-3 formation and counter attacked. No team is getting past a 6 man defence even more so given the quality of the players that Chelsea have!

Hate to say this, as a UTD fan but i am quite glad they beat Barca' of course i want them to get spanked in the final. But it was a great effort from Chelsea, we all know how deadly Barca are!

Did not insult you , just said you was taking sh!te, which you are. As you said the red card was harsh. Now if that is not talking sh!te, I don't know what is.

There is not another person I know, Chelsea fan or not, he did not think that was nothing but a red card. You though said it was harsh.

When a player knees another player in the back, off the ball, for no reason at all, how the hell is a red card harsh for that?

Never had a choice, had a UTD shirt before i could talk which was before the premier league started!

I said

"Although a fair booking in retrospect I think something should be done about diving as it blights the European game and is creeping more into our own league"

If you read the sentance before

"I thought the red card (implies past tense) was harsh as the Barca player in question did a death flip after the event clearly looking for a booking"

This does not in anyway justify what JT did, my opinion changed as soon as i saw the replay.
But the guy who fell on the floor made the most of it, would you fall on the floor if i nudged you like that? I bet you would turn round and say what the fck was that for or words to that effect...
The ref had seen it and made his mind up there was no need for theatrics or mobbing of the ref.
This sort of play disgusts me and I would not condone it from any team. (part of the reason I prefer paying to see Rugby instead)

How is this talking sh!te?

Been watching Barca all season and were never at their best last month or so. I'm glad Chelsea got through in the end because they deserved it more with the work they put into the game. Some call it anti-football playing with 10 men more or less in their own box for 45 minutes buts that was all they could do against Barca given the circumstances. They are just too quick with their passing. I mind my team Rangers were there a few season ago and we had to do that for 90 mins with 11 men and still got pumped 2 - 0. We were also heavily critisised for our tactics but it really is all you can do. Terry is a fool for doing what he did but its no isolated incident, he and many others exercise these dirty tricks on a regular basis but unfortunately for Terry he done it in front on the entire Camp Nou and the officials. So all in all i'm glad Chelsea made the final even though they are not my favourite club by a long way but also glad John Terry won't be playing.

Messi misses pens all the time...not his best attribute. Not far off though and would of been a fine penalty if it was in inch or two lower. He's still the best player in the world and by a long way. Has been well of form lately though. Was never going to be able to turn it on with the whole chelsea team in front of him.

Yes he is the best player by a long way... but lets not forget that barca played without a recognised striker. For me they have looked shy when it really matters without Villa. I have no doubt it would have been a different story had he been playing....

... but he wasnt and so chavski go through to the final. Cannot wait to see BM or RM run rings around them  :lipsrsealed:

Indeed.....without David Villa the side has certainly been destabilised this season. The are the perfect team players when altogether. Iniesta is on another level also. I can't see Chelsea taking anything from either side in the final. Looking forward to tonights encounter!!
