Title: Shocking!

What is the difference between inserts and sealed units? (I know very little about suspension!)  Have seen some Jamex short stroke sealed units on offer and am tempted, and am assuming that they would go with performance springs.  Am I correct?

Current set up is completely standard, and would only be going for a minimal drop (20-35mm) as road to work is not exactly great and I quite like my fillings in place!

Dear ukmrw1

The sealed struts are all enclosed which includes the lower spring seat and part of main shock body cast, these are the better items then the insert only option.
