Hello, there.
I've recently come over from the Peugeot 306 GTi-6 forum, & am hoping that I'll get some of the same, useful & friendly advice/help, here.
Bought the other week:-
1.8 Turbo 150 bhp (Hopefully will soon be around 210 )
3 door
V 2000
Satin Silver
31k
Came with:-
FSH
12 month warranty at any main dealer
12 month tax
12 month MOT
30k service done
new windscreen
3 new tyres (Goodyear Eagle F1's)
Bodywork tidied up a bit.
I owned my "6" for 2 years, but recently sold it to make way for my new Mk4 Turbo.
I have very fond memories of the old girl, but I felt it was time for a change, as it was starting to show its' age.
The Golf is not as quick in a straight line, & is not in the same league as the Pug in the handling dept.
BUT.....
Hopefully a Milltech '4 Motion Style' S/S exhaust, a Jabbasport re-map & some Eibach springs will edge it ahead of the GTi-6.
I'm also looking forward to some German build quality!
