Hi
I have just bought a Golf mk2 GTi 16v badge for the front grill, just wondered if anybody could tell me the exact measurements of where it should be placed on the grill? (a case of OCD i know!)
-

Passengers side... thats all
-
Just be wary of it being nicked.. They're worth £500 on ebay you know... Where are you based/ where do you park your car at night?....
-
I'd imagine that if the Golf was built by British Layland, the guy on the production line would use the "Ther'll do" method.
I'm sure VW had some sort of jig.

This is the correct position...

Thom's is spot on. Most people put them one slat too high. There is a prong on the back of the badge with a "V" in it. This slots onto a vertical bar in the grille, thus ensuring the correct left/right position.

Mine looks better Thom  plus it might work for small bumpers bigger bumpers need it one vent higher

+1. It's because they are rare.
