just curious the red strip round the bumper on the anniversarys is it a vw only part or can i get it elsewhere

It is VW only and no longer available new however pinstrip from Halfords / ebay will do the same job or see if your local signwriting company can cut you some.

may i make a suggestion,

I have found the gap for the strip is avearage of 5mm, the red pinstipe in halfords comes in 3mm or 5mm rolls one roll will do one car,

hoever if there is a motormainia or A1 car spares type of place near you or even an independant car shop try there first,

My local A1 spares a roll of 6mm which does fit nicely if lined up right costs £2.36
i cocked up a bit so needed another roll, halfords wa the closest place & for the exact same brand of pinstripe it was £6.99!!!! over twice the price! hence why i hate halfrauds!

got mine off ebay for £1.36  :wink: makes big difference to cars look IMO

I had mine supplied by the local signwriting company that also did my roof.

thanks 4 all the sugestions will try them all just picked my
anniversary up and want the pin stripe lol front bumper pin
stripe faded real bad :( rear bumper ok but guna do it all fresh :)

There was some genuine 3m (vw dealer new old stock) on ebay.de last week (search for golf 25jahre or Jubilee)

although it was about 50euro's!!
