Put my nozzle in boost hose before throttle housing modded pipe to 63mm, cut hose and put 63mm metal alloy pipe in between. Tapped hole in pipe and screwed inj nozzle into it. On my smic its huge biggest smic on market i think my nephew sent it from states for me cost $800 new. lad at work got turborev one for ebay cant compare the 2, work out volume size of tyrolsport to turborev it was around 2 and half times the size It is massive. So not changing it to fmic.

Potting and polish thought them days were over from my mk2 days with mad cams!!! There's a lad use to do mine years ago own place called race spec done mini's but jacked it in. Cost pretty penny now for price cost may as well get k04 from Audi tt and map that really. Got all bits ready to go on just not sure if fuel pump req'd may just fit it anyway.

Some head work helps

And a fresh engine of course

I had my valves checked and it wasn't holding vacuum on 3 of the 8 exhaust valves and 2 of the 12 intake valves before the rebuild, plus my piston rings wasn't doing well with a lot of blow by. After the rebuild the engine is more torquey, much more responsive and better on fuel.

Nozzles can be fitted in boost hose 3 different ways mines the 1st one screw into alloy pipe, 2nd is screwed into devilsown jet holder and 3rd using 2 washers either side of hose and tighten. Think my ways best, but up to you really.

Many thanks! I'm just trying to decide which turbo setup to go for once the engine is bedded in. Hopefully it'll be shiny too

Tbh your pretty much getting to the limits of the Ko3s anyways with 230/240bhp.

I wouldnt really hunt for much more with that turbo. I've been there and done this with my old Anni and worked it to the safe limit.

If you want more power then fit a K04-020, your see 270 with that pretty easy.

230-240bhp out of the ko3s easy, there is one guy pushing 248bhp, just imagine if he had water/meth injection 250-260bhp

248bhp and 300lbft lbft potential torque (ran 297lbft once on R-tech dyno)

Water meth and vernier pulley with a set of forged rods  and ported OEM exh. manifold will be added when rebuild.

Engine still runs spot on ;)

Devils own float switch?
