Before I even start Yes I have tried using the 'search' How ever it closes my internet down on all the computers in my house  Ive also tried it at work and does the same so not sure if there a forum error or something!?!?!
Anyway ... Ive just brought some 35mm lowering springs ( didnt quite build enough courage to buy coilovers... yet)
Im wanting to fill out the arches without having to worry about rubbing. I will also be buying coilovers eventually so ideally I want to buy one set of spacers to keep for now and then.
Heres some details;
Tyres: 225/40/18
Et:35
18X 7.5j
thanks in advance

15mm spacers rear and 10mm front
-
i have 15mm rear 5mm front with 225 40 18 8j et 35 so would of thought on 7.5j 10mm front and 20mm rear would be ok
-
oww dear Now what advise should I go for, 15mm rears or 20mm ????
what size length wheel bolts am I going to need?
-
I'm running 20mm rear spacers on 18x7.5j et38 wheels, with 225/40/18 tyres I got scrubbing, changing to 215/40/18 solved this.

Sorry bud all this wheel number talk is new too me so youl have to bare with me :embarassed:
So are you saying that I will more than likely rub using 20mm spacers on my et35 wheels with 225/40/18 ???
have you got a project thread with pics of how your car sits ?

Yeah basically, your wheels stick out 3mm further than mine did before I changed my tyres. It sat like this:

Now I've changed the tyres there is no scrubbing and it still sits nicely:

Steve those are 'gaaaaawjuss  and I bet the price tag was too
Thanks for the input so far people :nerd:
Next question is, what length wheel bolts do I need to buy ???
thanks

Standard bolts are M14x1.5 with 27mm thread (I think). If your running after market wheels then you'll need a tapered seat, but if your running OEM wheels then you'll need a radius seat.

So am I right in thinking il need 27mm+ 15mm(for spacer)= 42mm long bolts?
then same for the front?
I believe ive got oem wheel but il double check!!
How much was your car lowered in your pictures? bud

The rears are down as low as they'll go with the adjusters still in, not sure about the front. Somewhere around 50mm at a guess
