Title: EPC Light

Hi guys,

I was driving just, not pushing the car hard or anything.. 30mph, light throttle no boost. All of a sudden the EPC light came on and the car lost all power. Put my foot down and nothing. Dipped the clutch, turned it off and started it again and all was well, no light, drove perfectly. Completely back to normal. Put my foot down held 18psi as normal.

I scanned it when I got home, no codes. But I didn't think there would be as the light wasn't on. I kind of guessed it was limp mode.

I've read it could be brake light switch.. but they still work.

Anything to worry about?

(2001 AUM if that makes a difference)

No it sounded fine, just all of a sudden felt like someone had downshifted for me and all the power was gone.
