Does anybody know what the awesome gti service involves?
Like a full break down of what they do?
I've discovered my pollen filter hasn't been changed and it was serviced 4 weeks ago.
Whet to see Ray (aRd) to have outside temp sensor wired and discovered my pollen filter was minging.
Posted this in audio by mistake if one ofte moderators want to delete it? Sorry I'm on iPhone and pressed wrong button

Nah, they don't do that, nor fuel filter, as part of a service.
They do usuaully give you a check list of what they did do though.

Waited 3 weeks for my exhaust, oh wait, not that type of service.
-
I will do it myself then lol
-
I'd never have Awesome service my car as they seem to love engine flush which I see as a very bad idea in a 1.8T.

Its pretty easy to be fair and made a huge difference to mine when I did it.

I'll do it tomorrow :)

Why is engine flush not good jim for that engine? I was going to use some during my service.

The 1.8T has problems with sludge building up in the engine due to people using the wrong oil or whatever. This blocks the oil pick up pipe and causes oil starvation.
The engine flush will loosen all this stuff up, and could increase the chances of it blocking.
There's a big debate on it but personally I wouldn't use it.

Yes I was warned off that as I read a thread I was linked to and it sounds a nightmare!!
I didn't do the engine flush!
