Title: Well it looks like League one beckons...
Post by: Wazzzer on 21 April 2012, 15:26
Bristol are already one goal ahead of Barnsley so that throws Pompey to the wolves no matter what the result

Never known a club to have so many supporters from outside of Manchester or even the UK

COYR! Feel for you mate, bit harsh and if you hadn't had gone into administration again, it would have been us. Your loss is our gain though.

The situation is pretty dire. I have almost lost faith in them  :undecided: But then I'm not a huge footie fan...I'll just start supporting Saints

You say that, but down here where Plymouth Argyle are the only team you can watch with your dole money, they still charge £22 a ticket!   This is the same as it was a few years ago when they were in the Championship ffs!

Surely watching poor league 2 football should result in cheaper tickets, as their only pulling in about 4k people each time. Why not half the price of tickets, double the gates, and increase revenue on Pies and Bovril huh!  :smug:

.....Hi...... Champions .....

Maybe I'll use my season ticket more than 3 times next season, genuinely stayed away when 'the run' started for fear of my prescence jinxing it!

Indeedy! I don't think anyone can argue with them having the title, it was won honestly and with FairPlay.

Which is more than can be said for leeds, they're a genuine disgrace, playing like a 3rd division side from the 70s! And they're fans are probably the worst in the league
