right, after getting the fault code 16500 i thought that the temp sensor was knackered so brought a genuine item from vw and upon fitting ive noticed ive got two.
a blue 4 plug
a blue 2 plug
the haynes manual shows only one has anyone got any ideas? which one to replace?

mines a blue but cant bloody remember how many pins it had il go and have a quick look now dude

just had a look mines definately got 4 pins mate :smiley: just unplug the connector off the top and double check how many are on it just to be sure mate :wink:

top red circle is 4 pin plug

ah yes top is 4 pin as for bottom i dont know as i never changed that one :grin: hmm il have to take a look now

How the hell have you got that shine on your rocker cover and inlet?
Must of put some serious hours in polishing those

its the 4 pin 1 that u change
mine was a green 4 pinned 1 :undecided:

damn fail on my part for not reading thread properly yes change the 4 pin one as daz says the other one has not got anything plugged into it on mine and looks like yours is the same :cool:
