Is it possible with vagcom to adapt the vehicles immobiliser.I was thinking perhaps using another input,for example you have to have the left indicator on to allow the rest of the immobiliser to start the car.Just for extra security if somebody nicks your keys.

I don't think so. You could probably take the transponder out the key ans keep that seperate. You would need the transponder on your person when starting the car.

Other than that, I'm sure there are other aftermarket devices you could get. These "city cars" that you can hire on the street for example, use a contactless card in order to unlock/start the engine.
