Title: Alarm not sounding on activation

Only noticed this yesterday when another golf parked nearby was being locked up, my alarm doesnt sound/ chirp when i activate it. should it be doing this? if so any ideas as to why it isnt??

they dont do it from the factory, you can turn the feature on though with vagcom (fault diagnostics software)

Take it to your local dealer or garage with VAG-COM and they can do it in about 2 minutes, literally :cool:
