its just the charge pipe that runs down the back, like the one in the link http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/p/270724/3061461.aspx
i thought the oem pipe was a bit soft and there is no where that sells them. so asked apmotorstore to make me one.

Just rang my insurance today to declare mods and tried to declare just a downpipe but they only had full exhaust so said it makes no difference if I have downpipe or full system. Was on the look out for a cheapish cat back before until I went for a drive and boom front spring snapped so ordered coilovers instead!

any pointers of keeping the tips shiny? cirtain products to use?

use a good metal polish and alot of elbow grease. i use autosol on mine.

cool, how often you tend to them? weekly, monthly or just as and when they look a bit dutty

i tend to do the tip when ive cleaned the car about twice a month
