im reinstalling the tappets/lifters back into the cylinderhead on my non pd mk4 tdi. 6of them went in no trouble,dont really make much of a sound when i tap them with a wooden mallet handle and have a little downward movement to them
but 2 of them make a loud tap sound when tapped with the handle and have no movement when pressed. do these want replacing? they do the same no matter what valve i put them onto
