Help, got a christening next week, so I need a suit. Don't want to spend a fortune, 100-200 squid tops.
Any help, was thinking river island as I like the look of there suits, but dont want to just go in and get ripped off!
-
just how big are you "big tone"?
-
Ive always got suits from either burton river island or topman. always liked the style of them. However only like tgere skinny style suits. i.e skinny ish trousers and a fitting jacket red shirt and black tye type thing.
however for a normal suit (i.e not as fitting) somewere liike hpuse of fraser

That's a bit of a gay question
Ps I went to a Christening the other week suited and booted and most of the men didn't wear suits and ties etcanyway. So wouldn't worry to much.

i think they do leas fitting ones for people of normal size. im just a skinny cun... however ive always been morw a fan of the fitting ones. (Think they do tayloring but not sure never had to have it done
For less fitting "normal" suits ive always seen nice ones in house of fraser.

M&s do some good suits at a reasonable price and you can pick and choose different jacket and trouser sizes separately so you should get a good fit
-
you're a normal size compared to me!
you shouldn't have any problem getting a suit.
try having a 56" chest, 40" waist. have to have suit jackets tailored cause they don't make the arm holes big enough!

Can't beleive no one has suggested Next yet!
Get all my suits from next. Love the slim fit range + they do mix and match sizes, so you can get a really nice fit (with extr lengths and short etc).
They do a really nice pure black one for £79 actually with jacket and trousers.

Never got on with next stuff - wrong build for it
They do do comfy shoes though!

I'm an odd shape to fit for, and have never had a bad suit from Slaters. I have from many other places on the high street.
In terms of fit vs. cost, you can't really go wrong with it.
The key is to be fitted by one of the older guys. Who'll tell you if something looks crap on you.
