Title: EGR delete
Post by: sveed1.8T on 19 April 2012, 21:59: Is this the **part** (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170824287468?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649) that i would need to do the delete on my 115PD? The reason i ask, is because there seems to a large disparity in the price of EGR deletes :undecided:

In a nut shell...

1) Do i need any other parts to do the delete?
2) Is it a job i could do on my own (which general garage tools)?
3) What is the main benefit of the delete?

Just stick a screw in the vac lines with a cable tie around it with the spare vac lines that you are left over with. There are cheaper egr deletes, by about 6/7 quid, I could dig the link out if you'd like :smiley:

That's alright mate, think Allard is well known company, so not bothered on a few quid :smiley:

As said in my previous post,

That isn't a bad one. Shows you where to put it all off the car. Apart from that it is basically a few allen bolts that you remove to get the EGR off and then you just bolt on the new allard and put the blanking plate over the manifold...Simples. Any probs holla at yo dawg :wink:
