what do you think? look ok?. Was never going to be fantastic but i think it will do for now  till i get more time to tweak it a bit more.

When you are on the photo on flickr, click the "share" button above the photo click the bit that says "Grab the HTML/BB Code" this will give you a box with code in, copy and paste into your post here. Done.

make sure you grab the BB code and not the html code

IMO it looks too dated and detracts from the photo.

far far far too big, drop the size by about 50% and the opacity to say 60%

You don't want something that big. Tuck it away to one corner or your detracting from your photo. White is also a good idea.

I use lightroom and when you export your photos you can automaticly add a watermark to all your photos.

You need lightroom.... It's like Photoshop's idiot sister.

Never understand what's so amazing about Lightroom.  Tried it and it just annoyed the hell out of me.

+1

It's a poor man's photoshop or the rich man's instagram

IMO it's fine for facebook snaps but for photos you want Photoshop or the GIMP.

personally ide download ps, or if you cant afford it/find a naughty copy off the internet to download then gimp is free and is pretty much photoshop just in a different layout

if you are using text for a water mark, and want it to look a little more 'up to date', then i would go for a san serif typeface, if you want some inspiration just google 'swiss typography

Frankly I wouldn't bother with a logo/watermark unless you are worried about people stealing your photos for commercial purposes.
I don't bother with one at the moment, although I may consider one in the near future but I've disabled the download option on my flickr photos so that they can't easily be stolen.

Obviously you can screenprint, but you'd never get a full resolution photo that way, and that's what someone would need if they were going to make money off your photos.
