A similar sort of thing... my mate ordered a brand new Audi TT for his wife, and decided on a purpley blue colour. little did they know, that the pigments that go to make up the pearl tinter in the paint, were only mined from one place in the world... just up the road from f**kushima, Japan! it took about a year for the car to arrive.

with the popcorn gif, I thought you were referring to the excellent film of the same name.
