Title: carbon fibre sunroof?

Hey guys i was thinking of replacing the glass in my  sunroof with carbon fibre and still make it operable,anybody done this?What you think about it? :undecided:

then its  not a sun roof is its another window lol.

be tricky to get it to fit tho wont it?

Yeah ok i guess it would be a roof window then.I dont think it would be that difficult.

Difficult to get it to seal. If you want to do that get it vynl rapped or something

Vinyl is ok yes but its not just the look i want, it also gets rid of unwanted weight.

With respect it is not going to save much plus you have a mk3 which is not light to start with.
