Hi
In the process of upgrading my 1.8T. It now has a Cat Back Milltek exhaust and 007p DV fitted. Next step is to upgrade the turbo to a KO3S, which is sitting in my garage ready to be fitted.
My intention is/was to fit the turbo followed by a Sports Cat and I think I'll need to fit a FMIC. Question I have is.......
Do you get a real benefit from changing to a Sports Cat? In terms of cost, it one of the most expensive parts and I'm wondering if the benefit out ways the costs and if you're going to do it......you should do it right and fit the Sports Cat along with the FMIC?
Anyone any ideas of the performance gain and difference between not fitting or fitting a Sports Cat with the rest of the 'standard kit' most people fit to a 1.8T...KO3S, FMIC, 007p DV, Cat Back, TIP etc
Thanks
G

I'm having a twin inter setup not going front mount,, and I'm having turbo bk system so if you no some 1 that can do mot I'd have de cat mate I wouldn't pay the prices for sports cat

sports cat / de-cat is needed for stage II map IIRC
turbo will spool up quicker with a sports cat and more power & torque than the usual bolt on parts, worth doing if wanting to get the most out of a k03s
