Normally about £200 for the deposit you get returned.

I'll phone my new insurance company tomorrow and see if drive other vehicle cover will cover my dads van. I'm not far.

I do and left messages, but like you say its only 14 miles so its a back up plan to see if I can get a cheap van for a few hours, plus its big glass so want it packed in safely. Most of my boys have HGV trucks with scafolding poles and massive diggers on them  :lipsrsealed:

Glass is easy to transport, my old man has a window company and the sh!t in the vans is unbelievable but I have never cracked a pane when loading. All you need is a dust sheet and a rope. It will only crack on the corners normally too to a quick sweep and even pressure and your alllllll good.

2x2m pane of glass?  You may struggle carrying it upright, but should go diagonally if the van is high enough, though you'll need to pack and support it extremely well.
