could i possibly use the stock tweeter as part of a component setup

Running off head unit? or amp? if head unit then I guess so but it makes sense to upgrade though surely?

it would be runnin off the amp along with upgraded speakers, just tryin to re use the stock ones too avoid making a mess of my door cards lol

for any1 else wantin to know, the standard audio system doesnt have crossovers, it uses a capacitor on the stock tweeter .

also you can fit an aftermarket tweeter behind the original grille if you chop away some of the plastic on the rear ;)
