having a problem with dam idle revs they keep jumping upto 2000 and sitting there for a while then coming down if i rev hard they drop normal back to 700-900 roughly but if im sitting in traffic just on the clutch the revs raise and i roll away getting on my nerves only happens when the engine is warming up its probably timing but it was timed only 2 months ago and after the car been running about 30 miniutes doesnt do it no more only seems to do it when its warming up temps between 60-80 on the mfa.

What engine is it? If its a Digifant then when the engine is off check the idle switch clicks when you close the throttle. If not you need to take the top half of the airbox and the intake boot off and adjust the idel switch, its underneath the throttle body. I found the screws were impossible to reach though so I gave it a couple of taps with a hammer till it started clicking again
While you're there clean out the throttle body till its nice n' shiny :)

cheers sorted it this afternoon 8v Digi throttle body was acting up few squirts of wd40 my mate sprayed on it fixed it right up he said that when i cleaned the engine last november it dried out and just needed some lubrication guess he was right cause its running perfect not sure exactly what screw/s your on about only the one just below the throttle which is easy to get to with a long thin flat head screw driver

I'm talking about the 2 scres that hold the idle switch in place, no real way to get to em :)
