..youve had to put in ,once i ran out of fuel a couple of miles from home, only option at time was to walk to the filling station with my can and buy .76p worth, thats all i had on me  ,cashier thought i was having a laugh, proper :embarassed: anyway put it in and as i was parked on the verge at an angle it wouldnt start so i had to jack the bloody car up so the pickup pipe could get fuel.

Back in the day of owning a 50cc bike  , didn't have enuff fuel to get home, only had £1.50 dropped the £1 at the fuel station, after filling up! Eventually found it, went and paid and the woman told me the minimum fill up is £2, I was like, it's a bit late now
-
least ive ever put in is £2

I'v almost always brimmed the tank when at the pumps...so nothing less than £30 I guess

£10 if I ain't got fuel and no money I don't drive
Minimum I put in now is £20.
When I first started £10 went as far as £20 today

i prob put about £40 a week running the kids about etc..rarely more than 20 at a time unless ive something planned, only cos the last time i filled up a tank just for the sake of it ( previa in 2006) the bugger was stolen with a full tank
least amount was the fiver i put in a can the other day when i ran out... used to be cool to put £5 of petrol in.. ah those were the days
-
@ 57p a litre I used to run my first 1.1 Escort on a fiver a week
Now I run my golf on about £25 a week filling up £20 a time

Think the lowest I have put in a car at the pump is £3 but still regularly put the odd £5 or £7 in if i'm passing a station and have some spare change on me regardless wether or not I need fuel.
