Title: care for pollished rims

Hi, i have just bought a set of TSW Catalunia's, they have a polished rim, i have never owned a set with a rim like this and i have seen other cars with polished rims and they have gone white and flaky! Are there any care tips i need?? random i know!  :tongue:

Polish them at every opportunity!! Don't let them sit dirty for weeks at a time. Invest in some winter wheels, because use on wet salty roads will ruin them

Become best of frineds with a big tube of Autosol metal polish and use it often, that's what I've had to do.......

Clean them every day or as often as you can - and get a set of winter wheels.

tell me about it!!! cleaning wheels is a pain in the arse, i got mine out from hibernation the other day and they took a good bit of elbow grease to get shiny again!!

Autoglym to a spray called "alloy wheel protector" or something simmilar. I just bought a can, not tried it yet. I t says on the can it helps to seal the wheels.

 Autosol metal polish or ayto glym metal polish and lots of rubbing :-)

it helps putting a layer of wax over the polished bits afterwards, the dirt comes off easy then and doesnt penetrate as quickly
