Title: Roof Repair !!! HELP

Bonjour my fell Mk1 owners I need help, I have a CoCo Channel Cab with the original roof on still
and I need it repaired as the Stiching has come off !!!! Does Anyone know a company that can restich a roof lining at all, im from Marlow Bucks (will be at Stoner on sunday)

It will be ashame to replace the original roof on a CoCo as they dont make them anymore
Any help would be appricated

I know a place in south Wales that could probably do it for you, but it's a long way for you  :sad:

Isn't it a blue roof on the Coco Channel? Why don't you get a blue Mohair, that would be cool  :cool:

I really dont want to replace the roof, the orig roof is as rare as rocking horse sh*t ....lol (slowly doing up the car bit by bit)
Yep its blue with lots and lots of little CC's printed all over the roof (how lovely) lol

If the hood is that rear a spec - you should consider traveling to get it fixed....

What about buying a blue mohair roof and a packet or 2000 of some Letraset? Bingo, problem solved.

Stitching the roof should be possible, it's rips or tears that will be hard to fix without being seen, I'd suggest looking in the yellow pages for a local coach trimmer as they will be best to advise of what they can do, but if it's just stitching then that should be easy enough to do for a professional. I saw a CC at Inters and I know what you mean by the roof, that will be rocking horse droppings to find and I can see why you'd want to keep it original.  :smiley: Good luck.
