it could be either ignition ''spark'' or fuel!

the coils are known to just go and they give no warning!

pull one of the leads off and fit an old but working plug into the lead now touch the engine with
the spark plug have someone to hold this whist the engines being turned over!
becareful you dont get a shock off the ht! if you wrap your sleave around your fingers this should stop
any ht shocks! if you get no spark then it could be the coil or the dissy! ie hall sender....

you can also just test the coil by pulling the ignition coil to dissy lead and whist turning the engine over check to see if it sparks by holding it near the cylinder head if it does then the coils ok if it doesnt spark then it could be
coils wires not connected or broken... loose engine earth strap... etc

you can normaly test the coil by using a multimeter! the primary winding resistance is 0.5 to 1.2 ohms and the secondary is 3 to 4 ohms...

if you get a spark then the problem lies on the fuel side.. pump not working possible fuse or fuel relay or
nackerd pump......
