Title: Selling my '99 GTi-Turbo have i over priced it?
Post by: m4nesh on 01 June 2005, 19:18

Hi guy!

I am putting my 99 T VW Golf 1.8T up for sale at 7250 and reduced it today to 7100 after 5 days of no interest. Do you think this is to much or should I reduce it more, looking to go back to the roots (mk2) as need cash for house

I have put it for sale in the for sale section of GolfGTi (follow link for details)

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=22690.0

And it is also in Autotrader

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=VOLKSWAGEN&model=GOLF&min_pr=7000&max_pr=8000&mileage=5&agerange=&postcode=le5+6lh&miles=40&max_records=50&source=1&photo=1&sort=4&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH

Checked out parkers and 7100 is dealer price?

Let me know your opinions...

feedback appreciated

Hi i bought a GTI 1.8 T 99 plate with 90k on the clock for £4500! with all the history and immaculate interior/exterior. To be honest mileage is nothing to these engines if they are looked after. Your mileage is excellent but ask your self how much someone would pay for a 6 year old car. Maybe 6500-7000 k maybe even less? im sure someone will take it off ur hands so dont loose hope
