whats the difference between 5/30 fully synthetic and 5/30 semi synthetic as when i went to motor factors for some oil to top up its says in the book you can use either which is best as was told semi would be better for high miles but i dont know so any help cheers guys  :smiley:

well the guy that put my engine in says to use semi to and he really knows his stuff cheers dude just wanted to know ppls thoughts and know what the difference is  :cool:

simple answer.... fully synthetic is better than part synthetic

Use Quantum Platinum from VW/TPS. It's not even expensive!

guys i know what to use as ive had the golf for 3 years just want to know what is the difference between the 2 oils cheers  :smiley:

Fully synth would be my choice and is what I use in mine.
