Title: Place in Essex to get window reg clips fixed?
Post by: GAZ666 on 12 April 2012, 00:26
Hi all... my passenger window has been held up with bits of wood for the last year, and this year I'd like to use the window... i've got the replacement plastic regulator clips, but seen how to guides on this and it looks too difficult for me... i tried... but couldn't get the door skin panel off...

is there a place near basildon/romford or someone local to me who would like the honor of fixing this for me? cash waiting!

If i was close to you ide do it for you. Its really not hard. i think the guides make it seem harder. its just take door card off. undo bolts on regulator panel unclip remaining parts of old clips put new clips on.

the hardest part i found was putting the door card back on

do i need to remove the door skin part thats bolted to the door, or can i fix the clips by sticking my hand through the gap after i've undone it?
