i know im going to prob attract a load of haters but i gotta new car as the gold kept letting me down!! this was the original choose before i opted for the mk4 golf
its a mk4 2002 astra coupe turbo in saphire black with red leather interior, its got 63.000 miles on the clock and mostly standard
mods so far are
full TXautosport FMIC with dv(baileys dv36) with 2 slim line fans
full stainless steel longlife exhaust pre cat back with sports cat,got 2.5" pre cat to fit aswell
massive piper cross foam air filter with courtney sport relocation silione hose but not yet fitted!!
vxr spark plug cover fitted to replace ecotec one!!
polo stubby arial that came off the golf
just bought 40 groove front and back discs fronts 308mm and 264mm rears with mintex pads
this will get me hate but full 6k hid kit!!
led side lights
led number plate light
i have bought a new centre console with a sat nav hole that im mounting a 2.5" screen thats also a bar boost guage! im also modding it to fit a double din touch screen head unit

looks a tidy motor im not really a fan of the mk4 coupes,i prefer the mk4 astra gsi but still is a nice car they shift aswell them astra turbo's

cheers mate i was looking at a gsi but theres a few round by me and no coupe turbos only 1.8s ect ect so wanted something to stand out

how much did you give for it mate they go quite cheap now them dont they and it the same engine as the vxr but less tuned i think

I was expecting to see one of the newer shaped models :lipsrsealed:
I literally know nothing about vauxhalls, what engines does this one have in it then? How quick is it too...IMO it just LOOKS slow as f**k. If you can get 300 out of it then it obv isn't, just looks slow IMO. :smiley:

it aint slow its faster than my stage 1 golf haha they run a 2L turbo z20let engine and na i cant mate!! it aint slow!! yea there basically a tuned down version of the vxr engine so all vxr bits just bolt on haha i paid 2600 for it mate

my mates old nova ran the same engine was a great wee toy :smiley:

they are good engine good for 350bhp on standard internals lol

a mate of mine works for Vauxhall, he has one of these in blue and its knocking out something like 300bhp
pretty rapid. not really to my taste but not a bad car at all

Cheers mate yea im hoping to break the 300 plus barrier maybe hybrid turbo lol internals are good for 350 so potential is there I kno it aint everyone cuppa if it was be a boring world lol

too right mate. id say yours looks better than my mates even tho he has spent ALOT on it

nice car mate, loads of parts for the zlet and easily more power to be had with VXR bits.
don't look half bad either - GSI front bumper finishes them off IMO
used to have one before the Golf with a 1.8 engine, regret not getting a turbo in the first place as apart from the lack of power was a very good car.
