So, the father in law to be hooked me up with some venison, but as the other half isnt keen on it i've not had a chance to cook it, shes out with work tonight so thought this would be the prime opportunity to give it a go. Never had it, never cooked it so im after some ideas, ive seen a lot of recipes which include berries, like juniper etc, not keep on these ones.
Just thinking if worse comes to worse, fry it off in a pan as i would a regular steak. with some sweet potato and veg

yea, i think i'll stick to that, start simple, i'll get the mother in law to be to cook me something fancy with it.
might make a little sauce if i can be bothered.

Thats why you put it on before work on super low heat. The meat will literally crumble :drool:

1. Open fridge
2. Remove Venison
3. Close fridge
4. Open bin
5. Throw venison in bin
6. Order a takeaway

Mmmmm, wasn't sure what to expect but my that was superb, flash fried in some butter and a garlic, 2 minutes each side, still nice and pink, served with some baby new potatoes boiled and finished in a pan and string beans. Delicious
