After that stupid fuel scare :lipsrsealed: I was just wondering how much petrol/diesel do you usually put in and how far do you get on that? Plus the fact im a stingy bas##rd and try and calculate how much each mile cost and how I could make it cheaper :grin: felt like comparing with other so I made a nice little template for you to reply :wink:

Miles: 220ish

That was motorway/town as well and it was bad I thought on the motorway.
Might just get another Micra then! :laugh:

i dont use it a huge amount so dont see the point in it sitting there with 80 quids worth of fuel when i live in a town full of pikeys!

And because I am a mega-geek I use Fuelly.com to track my spending, mine costs me 22.5p per mile in fuel

all i know is it costs me 68 quid (ish) to fill up and it doesnt last a week. :sad:

ED30 was 270 a month petrol, Golf GTD 160 a month diesel, Tig 150 a month diesel :smug:

audi a4 2.6 v6 of £30 worth i only get 130 miles :sick: mixed driving some enthusiastic junction pulling out mainly eco driving though and slow. I usually top up 15 at time at get about 70 miles of it. suppose isnt horrendus for a v6 for the smoothness of engine. Id only diesel if was a refined tdi.
I wacked in 70 incase of fuel and feels like it lasting ages and not as bad on fuel lol

Petrol: £90 to fill tank from almost empty.
Miles: 430ish, 450 if I really push it.
Makes me cry every time i think about it...

in the golf I used to put in £20 at texaco at 1.40 a litre, would get around 75 miles, not sure on the escort yet as i've put in £20 this morning and gone work and back and the needle hasn't budged

in my MK3 astra van 1.7td costs £45-£50 to fill from empty and probably get about 240 miles out of it.. SHOCKING MPG :/

I go brim to empty twice a month, then have to stick another £20 or £30 in at the end of the month to get by! So looking around £150 a month in total, and probably around 600-650 miles. :sick:
Thats the problem with having a motor that you need to get anywhere though I suppose, and I often do like to go places. :evil: :rolleyes:

While discussing fuel prices the other day, a mate revealed that he does well over 2K per month in his Aston, and his wife's Porsche 4x4 Turbo thingy... spare a thought for the rich :grin:

When I had my vauxhall combo van I used to, 1.7d and 74mpg if driven sensibly couldn't get worse than 40mpg no matter how I drove it, down side was it only had 63hp and took 24 seconds to hit 60mph with a top speed of 90mph, downhill with a strong tail wind it once did 100mph. :grin:

I have a small fleet of company vans (3 Ford Transits) and cars (4)
My fuel bill is anywhere between £3000-4000 a month. A Ford transit costs about £115 to fill up from empty, getting about 450 miles.

squeezed £76 into the mk4 today :shocked: should last 500-550 miles depending on how many tractors need overtaking
