This is my first post so hi all, im doing up my mk1 vw convertible and need help with wheels. I really want a set of BBS RX alloys in 15" any idea where in the UK i can get some form as they all seem to list 16". Although US websites list 15" in these wheels. Also how hard and whats needed to to fit 16" wheels on the mk1 convertible? Are they a direct bolt on if you get the right tyre and offset size or do i have to cut away at the body kit? Also while im on the subject what is the correct offset size? thanks all :)

Hey SHez, welcome to the site. You shouldnt have a problem fitting 16" to a cab, Mine used to run 17's with no problem. I've even seen a mk1 cab with 18's. Try ordering them from the US if they do them in 16's out there, or go to a reputable dealer who will try their hardest to get you what you need - it is there job to after all.
Providing the offset is correct (this will all be checked for you by a good supplier anyway) the wheel will be a direct replacement for your present set.
Ever thought about going the other way and getting smaller wheels though? (see my sig pic below)
Hope this helps
